24/7 Access

MAPS is an online product meaning that pupils get access to their portfolios anywhere there is an internet connection.

Not only that but all task documents and resources are also available within the portfolio meaning that they can be downloaded from home as well as from school.

Transition from Key stage 2 to Key Stage 3
When pupils move between MAPS schools their portfolios go with them - teachers in the secondary school can see everything the child has done since they started using the system as well as level summaries.

Messaging
Unlike competing systems, MAPS users can only send messages that relate to a piece of work. When they do send messages they are in fact attached to the work and can then help to form the body of evidence on which the assessment will be made.
