MAPS for eQualifications
Starting in September, MAPS will support all 5 of the new Diplomas which means that it will include the mark schemes from the major Awarding Bodies to help teachers and students manage all of their Diploma coursework.
MAPS is ideal for eQualification strategies and currently supports:
- KS3 Assessment Tasks
- DiDA
- GCSE/GCE Coursework Management
- iMedia
- CLAiT
- OCR Level 2 Nationals in ICT
MAPS for eQualifications: The Benefits
- MAPS for eQualifications includes integrated mark sheets for CiDA, AiDA, DiDA, iMEDIA and CLAiT, and OCR Level 2 Nationals for ICT
- Students can upload their work to their own online portfolio for marking by their teacher. Teachers can review, assess and moderate students' work easily. The new red pen tool gives teachers the ability to mark and annotate student scripts in the same way that they can on paper-based submissions.
- MAPS provides a two-way messaging system with messages linked to the tasks or coursework. This ensures that both teachers and students can liaise fully at all times.
- Teachers can import their own resources, SCORM compliant content and quizzes. Online quiz tools deliver tests online and offer automated marking.
- Learning materials created by teachers and mentors can also be shared online
The MAPS Advantage
- Using MAPS for eQualifications also provides users with all the facilities of MAPS including:
- the ability to manage all students' assessment work online
- robust assessment and moderation practices
- safe, secure back up daily
- hosting and management conducted by TAG Learning, requiring no intervention on the part of the school or institution.
